People unfamiliar with direct mail are typically surprised at the long lead times from program planning to execution. But when circumstances warrant it, Allegiance Group + Pursuant can rally the resources and help you respond to an unexpected or emergency situation just like we did with Valley PBS.

In June 2024 we were deep into the approval process of our summer campaign when the June Lightening Complex Fire broke out in Fresno County California. The fire, which was caused by a lightening strike, spread to Bear Mountain home to the Valley PBS transmitter. As you can imagine, this natural disaster totally disrupted station broadcasts. The transmitter was totally destroyed. It’s expected that it will take 6 months or more to rebuild the infrastructure.

A situation like this called for an emergency fundraising appeal rather than the scheduled long-term control package. In record-breaking time the Allegiance Group + Pursuant team rallied to developed a new custom direct mail package and fundraising email to help Valley PBS meet this challenge.
